The Black Horse is a grade 2 Listed Heritage Pub in the arts and crafts style dating back to 1889. The pub is now run by Graham and Angela. So come and visit us and see for yourself what we now have to offer.
The pub could quite rightly call itself ‘unique’. Its external aspects are to undergo refurbishment, the internal features are very special. The bar servery has an expressive tiled curvature, there are mosaic floors and a side corridor which leads to more seating and a staircase that leads to the function room where the Graze and Grog cafe, smoking area, kitchen and games area are located.
The pub successfully and modestly melds modern features (such as an unobtrusive TV above the front door) with the old school character, it expertly retains old world style although recently refurbished, It could be described as a pub caught in time.
